From Virginia:

Take I-395 North across the 14th Street Bridge. Proceed past the Maine Avenue exit. Get into the left lane and head towards I-295. Proceed past the South Capitol Street exit. Take the next exit for 6th Street SE/Navy Yard. At the bottom of the ramp, go through two lights. At the next light, make a RIGHT onto 8th Street SE. Proceed to M Street SE and take a LEFT. At the second light, make a RIGHT onto 11th Street SE (EXXON Station to the left). Go through the light and proceed down to the stop sign, which is O Street, and make a LEFT. Park on the street underneath the bridge and near the brown sign: Anacosita Community Rowing Center.

From Maryland:

Take I-295 South. Pass exits East Capitol Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. Take the exit for Suitland Parkway. DO NOT GET OFF THE RAMP. Follow the ramp around a full 360 degrees and re-enter I-295 North. Take the first exit for Washington Navy Yard and I-395. Go over the bridge and get into the right middle lane. Merge right following signs for the Washington Navy Yard. Immediately after crossing the bridge take the fork in the road to the LEFT. Come to a light and make a wide LEFT turn at the light. DO NOT GO BACK OVER THE BRIDGE. Go through the light and proceed to the stop sign, which is O Street, and make a LEFT. Park on the street underneath the bridge and near the brown sign: Anacosita Community Rowing Center.

How to Get to NCAWPA by Metro

The closest metro stops are Navy Yard on the green line and Eastern Market on the orange and blue lines. Both would require a 15-minute walk. From Eastern Market, walk down Pennsylvania Ave. and take the first right down 8th St. Continue down 8th to M St. - you will see the Navy Yard. Take a left on M St. and continue 3 blocks to a right on 11th. Follow 11th St. until the end of the street, where it turns left (under the bridge span). The boathouse driveway will be half a block on your right.

From the Navy Yard Metro, take the Navy Yard Exit and continue down M St. until you reach 11th. The Navy Yard will be on your right the entire time. Turn right down 11th St. and continue straight until the end of the street. Take a left at the end of the street (under the bridge span). The boathouse driveway will be half a block on your right.
